let her cry first and NEVER say anything like....
it's just a cat, or you can always find a new one...
whether you know it or not, if she cries, mean she has a special r/ship with the hitten and she doesn't think that it is just an animal...it's her friend...
let her mourn and being empathy....u might say that you also think the kitten misses her and the spirit will always be around her....things like that or you could buy her anything she wants...just don't say those things i mention you should never say
hug her and show that you are sympathy...

I'm so sorry about the kitten! I think the best thing to do is to just give her a hug and try to make her laugh. And also show her that you are there for her and maybe you can make her breakfast. I hope this helps! =)

Definitely hug her. Take care of the kitty burial if possible. Maybe in a few days you can go get her a new kitty and put a big bow on it for her. It's so sad when your kitty passes.

Give her time to mourn, and just be there for her.
My 12 year old cat died a month ago, and I still get teary when I think of him, but nowadays I'm starting to smile again more when I think of him.

Try to spend time with her and help her cope with it. To get her mind off of it, do something that she likes to do, and do it togetther (ie go see a movie she's been wanting to see). I'm sorry about the poor kitty!

Hold her. Tell her you feel bad for her and you wish you could take the pain away. Just do nice things for her, she's in mourning. Just show compassion and sympathy.
Do Not: Tell her you understand.
Do Not: Tell her you'll get her another one.
