I want to know if i can light a few sparklers on the fourth of july

I would suggest that you call your local fire marshall or police dept. to find out the answer to this question.

Sparklers don't count as fireworks where I live (MN) and they probably don't where you do. You might want to check with the city just to be sure. I would be very surprised if they weren't allowed.

Sparklers are considered fireworks even if they do not explode when you light them. Illegal to use.

Sparklers are still sold in stores therefore it is not illegal to light some whenever you want.

I believe it depends on your local laws. Where I live, they are legal where fireworks are not.
