Many respondents have talked doing the right thing/not doing the wrong--but, in a way isn't that the question itself. What's that ONE thing u always think of as right/wrong, and always/never would like to do?

The most important guiding principle in my life is the philosophy that I am in complete control of my thoughts and actions, and that I take 100% repsonsibilty for everything that happens in my life....Once I understood this, my life change dramaticly...

"Cogito ergo sum" - I think, therefore I am.

The apodictic evidence & the indubitable fact of my own existence demonstrates the importance of protecting my self-interest.

Great guiding principle: Not worth going against my self-interest at all! (tongue-in-cheek)

But seriously, isn't this the existential philosophy that many in the world today live by -- self-interest above all else?

live life to the fullest..do the right thing but above all else foces on yourself.. never waste ur time crying ofver a girl or the death of a friend or family member.. remember them and remember all the good times you shared with that person but dont get so caught up in thier death that you loose yourself..... bottom line... live for you

Morality. Knowing right from wrong. Treating others as I'd like to be treated. Being honest. Being a good person.

the most important guiding principle of life is keep yourself alive by whichever way it`s possible,under the most dangerous situation a person forgets everything except this....

I've done a lot of things . . got a whole drawer full of awards, and thousands of friends . . . .the only thing that i ever keep track of is whether i'm doing the right thing.

Principle itself.
I always feel it so important to define what is right to you and when given the opportunity, stand up for it. I stand up for anything I feel is right or needs attention. It's part of what gives my life purpose.

It is RIGHT to stand up for your beliefs!

I know God is watching me & loves me, so I try not 2 do anything He wouldn't be pleased with, & try 2 do things He would be pleased with.
