1) Foreign Policy
2) War on Terror
3) Security Of Borders
4) Immigration Control
5) Global support of third world countries E.G. Africa/Aids
6) Confimation of the basic values that America was founded on E.G :
You can be any religion you want however we are putting the Christ back into Christmas
You can talk in any tongue you like but if you want to live here you have to learn to speak English
You have the right to pursue happiness however so does everyone else so....tougher laws allowing authorities more freedom in the investigation of suspected terrorist
Overall persona, charisma of the President. The elected is President and their cabinet have a very tough job on their hands and some tough decisions to make. they have to show they are capable of leading this nation and will be tough on terror and yet show the world the compassion that America is known for.
BTW, this is probably going to get me the thumbs down but we cannot pull the troops out of Iraq, it doesn't matter what you views or what your vote was regarding 'going in' we are where we are. If we leave it now, we give Iran what they want, the freedom to continue the development of Nuclear power and we give the terrorist what they want, a new breeding ground.
