the only way is to sandpaper it out - easy if the mark is superficial which it usually is with biro.

Usually methylated Spirits. Failing this. Petrol or nail varnish remover. I t depends on the type of ink base chemical.

use meths to wipe it away but if there is an impression left in the wood, sandpaper it away. If it is a tiny area you could use an emery board.

hairspray

it works really really well.

just spray it onto the area and then leave for 5 mins then wipe off.
