Sweet DesmoDutchy ;-)

maybe 2 unlimited are living in holland nowadays, but all it takes is a look at their site to know they cannot posssible be dutch. admit it, would dutch artists have an contact adress in belgium? or would they hace a french version of their site? don't think so ;-)
just check on http://www.the2unlimited.com/index2.htm, even all the emails have a "be"-extension

now, it doesn't really matter here, since they only got to no 1 in january 1993, years after pussicat. as mentionned earlier, golden earring only got to no 7 - although i clearly prefer golden earring, and you may regret pussycat are from holland (which i would understand), we cannot change that!

Shocking blue had the first world-wide hit with Venus. In 1970 they had a number one hit in Germany, Japan, England and the USA. George Baker selection had a hit with little brown bag (1969 or 1970) but no number one. The Golden Earring had a hit with Back home (1970) a bit later than Shocking blue. As faar as I could find Back home was no number one in England. Radar love was bigger and a number one, but later (1973).
2 Unlimited had the biggest worldwide hit, but that was much later, the eighties.

Guy VS is wrong. 2 Unlimited are from Holland.
They both live in Amsterdam.

I reckon it was Golden Earring who had the first no one hit in the UK.
