I heard that during a person's emotional hardship they often wake at 3am. Is this true? Could it be when spirits enter the human realm?

i dont study theology or related branches of studies but i remembered it being mentioned in Exorcism of Emily Rose.

" Later in the film Father Moore explains that 3:00 AM is the "witching hour" which evil spirits use to mock the Holy Trinity. Significantly, it is the opposite of 3:00 PM, traditionally taken to be the hour at which Jesus died. "

Holy shiiiit yes! But I like mine. What I hate is when I dream that I am still in high school with no career or I am still married. The ones that paralyze me with fear I find interesting. I had one the other night where I was in a green field that turned into a Martian landscape. Huge pillars blew out of the earth and turned into rock-demons of some sort. I kept screaming "Leave me demons did I want you!!!" and something about "why must I be a magnet for evil". Freaky ****. Are you taking any drugs (legal or prescribed)? Ambien withdrawal always made my dreams terrible.

Who has ever said such a silly thing? This is superstitious nonsense, although using a little logic would suggest that much will depend on location. North Pole to South Pole the arrival, or non-arrival of `dawn` will vary. The darkest hour is said to be the one just before dawn, when the sun is fully `hidden`, fishermen, countrymen, and photographers will know of this.

the witching hour = supposedly . . . . .

Christ died at 3 in the afternoon . . . . so those think too much decided that the opposite must be bad and decreed that 3 AM must be evil.
