the main character is Charlene. the movie featured asian women but they speak in English. they trained and then they have to kill their co trainee to survive.

the only one that fits this description that I know of is Azumi.. but her name is not charlene..
She is taken in to be trained as a ninja assassin, her first "job" is to kill her best friend, and then gradually to kill the other 8 students as well.. then a "war" starts and her master is taken and she kills alot of people.. one scene it is her killing like 200 people alone.. (not very realistically, but.. oh well) The movie is dubbed in English (so not subtitled)..

and it looks like in Azumi 2 she goes up against another female assassin...
It can't be So Close because they work together, they do not have to kill the others.
