Cycles are an AVERAGE of 28 days. Some are long are some are shorter. You probably just have a longer cycle. you're fine.

Is your period late but the same number of days late each month? If it is then your cycle is that number of days long. Not everyone has a 28 day cycle some are 24 some are 30 days and so on.

Your cycle may not have settled down just yet either you are still quite young so don't worry everything will slot into place in its own time.

my period comes about ever 5 weeks and i'm 17. sometiems it comes every 6 weeks even. it just depends on the person, but if there is NO pattern what so ever and you've had your period for over 4 years you should see a doctor. it may be the stress in your life or you may not be getting enough iron. also if you've lost a lot of weight recently that can affect it.
