Yes I do think stress can take a person to the edge and become suicidal if they don't have an outlet for their stress. Stress can cause many illnesses and can even kill you if you let it run your life. We all need time to destress and unwind to stay healthy.

I believe you mean to say "can stress make people commit suicide?" or "can stress make people suicidal?".
Yes, it can. They can feel they have no other choice or that the stress is so overwhelming to them that they can't take it anymore. Work is especially difficult because most of us need a job to pay our bills and yet job stress can be a HUGE cause of depression and anxiety to people.
I suffer from anxiety and panic disorder and occasionally the stress at work is very bad. I've made the comment at work, and rather loudly, "Why don't I just slit my wrists and bleed all over the keyboard and my desk because that seems to be what this place wants is my f-ing lifeblood?!" Some friends believe I shouldn't say that because it will end me up in the psych ward but my boss, who understands me, just says "Okay, but get that project done that I asked you for first so I can get it turned in, alright?" Then I usually cool down.

Absolutely.....when my marriage collapsed, my ex-wife had me so stressed out, the only thing I could think of was ending the psychological and emotional pain and attempted suicide. I guess it wasn't my time however, as my attempt was with a shotgun to the head, I pulled the trigger but the shell misfired... in any case, I moved on with my life when I finally came to realize that by killing oneself, you end up hurting those that DO care about you, so, suicide can be driven by stress, but in the bigger picture unless you have no feelings for anyone it's just not worthwile.

Stress can be pretty overwhelming sometimes but i think everybody perceives and handles stress differently. Personally, suicide is and can never be part of any solution (whether using insurance payback to settle debts or whatever nots) , I take it as a easy cowardly way of dealing with things. Trading your life to avoid stress forever? But not to forget trading away an entire lifetime/eternity of happiness.....
P.s: If you're thinking about it, dont even think about trying! Talk to someone and that thought will be gone as one of those silly impulse moments

Yes stress can cause these thoughts an feelings. What you hgave to understand is that these are feelings. Emotional stirs. In the end, if you go through a suicide, it will wont do much at all. Academic stress can be wuite challenging. I would know. Im not teh best in school, but I literally work my butt off. Nothing ever seems to fully prevail. But let me tell you that life is NOT meanglinless. I encourage you to talk to a professional about this. To end you life will not only hurt the envoirment around you but threaten you forever. You will not want to to reach the comqequesnces of this. Try your best in class, but dont literally think of killing yhourself over it. The grading system and public schooling system if toatally screwed up anyways. I believe that is what you are talking about? No. It is not worht killing yourself. Imgaine what your family will feel, or those who know your before. All their lves they will think its their faults. Because you are haviningth is sense of euphoria over these thoughts is not normal. Humans ar not functioned or wired in pleasure in self mutilation. This is why "cutting" is referred to as a BAD thing. Im not saying you "unconventional"-Im t he last to say this. If you were "unconventional" or "unique" or simaply "different" I would suport your ideas because I look at life in an "unconventional" way. But this goes beyond a a healthy mind into the realm of the horrar of thigs where you get to a point wher you say suicide is you pleasure. Tell me, does that sound normal to YOU? If deep inside the noraml is "no" you are not toatally out there. If the answer is "yes" I specificially and telling you to get help.

Yes stress can cause one to commit suicide. Stress can cause cancer, emotional disorders and can be a cause of bi-polar illness. If one can control stress in their lives, they can and would lead quite a different life.

happens every day to a lot of people. Some however, have the presence of mind, to realise that it would be a stupid stunt to try it, and move on to better solutions.
