Yep I think she did.. she's a spoil little brat who has no appreciation and I think she needed that as a wake up call... however I doubt she has learned her lesson..

I am not aware whether Paris Hilton deserve jail or not but I am sure that American people are law abiding and deserve applause for not playing with the evidence nor Police succumb to any pressure.
Had it been India, paris need not even go to police station , forget the jail.
look the cases of Fardeen caught for Cocaine purchase. initially it was 10 grams on records , now it is only one gram that seller of cocaine is not caught neither Fardeen
See the cases of Salman driving on sleeping citizens
and many more which are not recorded..
compared to this mishaps Paris case is nothing.

Of course she did. Everyone is bound by the law of the state so everyone who breaks the law pays the price. Just because Paris Hilton is a celebrity and considered, cool or awesome etc that doesn't give her special privileges.

Yes, Paris did deserve to go to jail. She broke the law and she had to pay for the crime. At the same time though, I did feel bad for her because of the fact that she was soo sad, she looked like a lost puppy.

I think she got a raw deal, and had to go to jail to set an example. There R plenty of people with way less money than her, in the same situation, and they get themselves off the hook. The crime did not match the punishment. She should have got a tough community service sentence. I wouldn't want a loved one to go to jail for what she did. It was not such a grave deal!

i dont think so. given the details - she was sent to jail for driving on a suspended license - not dwi as most would believe. if any of us were driving on a suspended license - we would have just gotten addl fines & tickets. i have friends that have faced the same type situation & didnt go to jail. Some people will say yeah cus she is spoiled - i agree to that - but legally? nah

Yes. Just because she is famous it doesnt mean she should get away with what she did. she is still a person so should go to jail like everyone else should. she even got a reduced sentence, which many people would not get. She should be grateful that she got that. But obviously not.

Oh girl give two hoots to Paris. She does not deseve any kind of attention. She is not a celebrity. Neither she is talented nor have any good quality. She always use media and her sexuality to be in news.

Yes. She was cited, given another written warning, then arrested again.
Most people wouldn't have been given the second chance. Maybe it will do some good, and make hre evaulate the culture she's bought in to.
