If you can, get a nationwide plan, then you won't ever roam. I love my cell - I have unlimited minutes and zero roaming for $50 a month.

Now if I could just stop texting...

A way to screw you out of money, never get a cell plan that charges for roaming.

It is like long distance. If you go outside your home area for the phone, you are then making long distance call, but with cell phones they just call it roaming because they think that is more cool.
