If it isn't obvious to you that it is offensive, that casts doubt on your ability to judge another's grasp of basic logic.

I believe something has to change. But I don't think the people that are in office right now are qualified to decide what to do about the problem. Nor do I think you should go after law abiding citizens that properly care for and lock up their firearms. It seems like most of the time you hear the shooter stole the gun/s from someone else. maybe going after the owner. Might make other gun owners take better care of their dangerous tool. Or better yet these people that commit such atrocities are seriously mentally ill. Lets try to find out why and educate people on how to look for signs of these illnesses so we can be more aware instead of becoming duller.

I'm sure this judge will give you sufficient time to mull over your question whilst you are sat in your cell.

I would consider you very offensive if I was sitting in judgment on your case, whatever it is.

Perhaps if you had used the logical practice of employing some legal advice, you would have been advised that insulting a judge is not a very clever thing to do!

1. It's a violation of a basic rule of civil and criminal procedure, namely the strong aversion to ex parte communications.

2. It's also contempt of court. Judges have wide discretion to declare what is and is not contempt.

You will be fined on both grounds at the very least. Heavily, depending on how many four-letter words you used.

I think you are a fool. Get your solicitor to do this sort of thing, he would probably advise against it. Hopefully the Judge will ignore your letter and treat it as being written when you are in a highly emotional state.

Are you acting for yourself in Court ?

There is an old but very true saying, " the man who acts for himself in Court ha a fool for a client."

Open4one is right. Anyway, think about it. How many people do you think there are that prevailed in court because they sent a letter to the judge to "get off my case"?

Of course it is. You're basically telling him to F*** O**.

He wouldn't be in his position if he didn't understand basic logic

Well you have a right to free speech but.......well he is judge so if it was something you might get time for it might have been a mistake.

Telling the truth can sometimes be offensive, but the truth is the truth and should always be pointed out.
Hope you got on Ok and that the judge could see the error of his ways.
At the very least it was not contempt of court or perjury.
