I would definitely prefer a hand written letter. It's so much more personal, and it's something you can keep forever. Then again, I am a romantic, and I'm very old-fashioned.

Hand written letter. Its sweetter than an email I think. The handwriting speaks something about the person which can not be seen in an emai. So, I will understand his/her feelings better if expressed in handwriting than an email.

A hand written letter would be taking it Old-Skool, but a E-Mail is faster.

Hand written has a different feel. I'd prefer it if it were a special occasion, but it may be more practical to get e mail since you can have easy access to it, it won't get lost, and most importantly, you'll be saving trees. So, e-mail, definitely.

I'm from the old school. A hand written letter is always more personal and caring. But then snail mail is just that .....snail mail.
