Perhaps the factory can manufacture something symbolic for your guest that can be displayed in his office or home. Couple this with a picture of the guest with you and some others people, especially some of the workers will be a lovely memento for your visitor.

Ear plugs because it is probably loud in the factory (enclose the ear plugs in a card which states; "On behalf of (the name of your company), I welcome you to our factory and to our beautiful city. Include some historical brochures from your chamber of commerce)
