You can do a net search for recommendation letters, you will be surprised but there are sample letters out there and you can pick sentences you like.

This is a very important letter, but it's impossible to help you without further details. Why don't you do a draft and post it. This way, we will be able to help you. In the letter be sure to discuss the candidate's accomplishments, personality, and other positive attributes. Give your own personal opinion as to why the candidate would be the best person for the position. Reread your letter several times to ensure there are no grammar, spelling, or punctuation errors.
