i dont like that idea, everyday i have to work more hour, and i have to wait longer for weekends

Yes I need a longer day, 30 hours would be very fin. My sleep-wake-up cycle takes more than 24 hours so when I have time commitments, I have sleeping disorder specially in exams.
8 days in a week would be better also. Lots of things can be done in this extra day.

There are calendars out there that have five first of the month etc out there
A great April first joke was metric time
Eg 10 hours a day, 10 days a week and 10 months a year.
Really what you are asking is would we be more efficient and the answer IMHO is no
You need to plan and prioritize your day and you will find that extra day, extra hour

I have an hour more to do homework and an extra day to turn in assignments, but then the days and weeks would be too long.

Depends - is it 1 more 'weekend day' or work day? People get stressed enough as it is meeting each Monday. I don't think it would help - you'd spend more time at work and less time on life - enjoying it that is. And we know what comes out of that.

My job would expect me to work MORE hours and MORE days and not compensate me for the time. Much like now.

depends on how you classify the extra time.......
an extra weekend day, you bet it would be better! a weekday and you have people going even crazier than they already do...
