during winter that is. or do you wear slippers?

do you let your toes freeze??
and what are your thoughts on wearing the same pair of socks for two days just around the house? i know if it was to work or school they get washed immediately but if you are just bumming around the house and your feet aren't getting smelly in a pair of shoes would it be ok in any way?

I wear both socks and slippers around the house. I dont think there is anything wrong with wearing the same socks around the house for two days, I mean, you are just wearing them around the house, not in public, and how dirty can they possibly get if you are just in your house?? Yes it would be okay, at least in my opinion.

I have worn the same pair of socks twice there is nothing wrong with that.......... I dont wear socks if I cant help it.... Im a flip flop kinda girl in the summer and in the winter I use Slippers when I go out on the porch to smoke, or for those really cold toes

I wear slippers...with socks. It keeps the slippers from starting to stink.
If I'm not feeling well, or I'm feeling lazy, I MIGHT wear the same pair of socks for a day and a half. That's about as long as I can stand to go without a shower. After I shower, I change my socks.

Yes, I wear socks at home, always without shoes. I hate shoes.
I think it's fine to wear the same pair of socks around the house for a couple days, as long as you're in your stocking feet the entire time. If you've worn shoes, then your feet start to sweat, and you should probably change your socks.

I have some socks that are all stretched out and just not use-able with shoes. I run around the house in those when it's cold.
(*laughter*) It depends on how dirty they are if I'd wear them a second day. If I didn't run out to get the mail in them, and the floors are clean..then I may wear them another day. However, I have dogs, and there's always hair around somewhere. Furry socks are just not something I like.

I wear socks, and either slippers or shoes around the house. I change daily, or sometimes more, if I have to dress differently for some occasion.

I never wear socks, even during the winter. I don't like to have anything on my feet. Sometimes, I even take my shoes off while driving. LOL

Absolutely. I always told the family, if the clothing has no stains,and it has not become smelly, then it is clean enough to wear again. That is my criteria.
But then in spite of my username here....Laundry is not my favourite. .I am not really referring to the stuff that one has in a basket and washes...it is life's laundry, so to speak.
