Is it possible to upgrade to a dedicated Graphics card on a Dell XPS M1210 after purchase. I have heard that it is impossible on some laptops but I have also heard that some newer laptops are becoming more upgradeable in terms of graphics cards and I was wondering if the M1210 is on of these.

No, you can't upgrade. The Geforce Go 7400 is pretty decent for light gaming. On the M1210, it can do 2090 marks in 3D Mark 05. That would be comparable or better than an ATI 9600 Pro on a desktop.

Read The Friendly Manual (RTFM) for your laptop, if it's do-able, it will be explained there.
