Two are funny ie; the picture(s)/with/caption, and one is serious ie; picture/with/logo. From a consumer standpoint, which is more effective?

Well...hell, The first card has an image of "Earth" with a "planet/star" in the distance(something along the lines of what the astronauts see) and the caption reads our logo/ underneath in quotations..."While your out!". The second one has "Mud Splotches" and the caption reads, "KEEPING IT CLEAN!". The third one(serious)has a "vacuum, mop bucket, gloves" etc... (basically, janitorial images). Note: Our "EDGE" is we pay attention to detail. Hope this helps? (us!) XOXO Moonpie

It sort of depends what kind of business she is in. Unless it is comedy or comic books or some really zany business you are better off with the serious card. You should always present as professional appearance as possible, especially on your business card.

I have 3 different business cards, for 3 types of businesses. In each case, I want my card to stand out a little from the "typical" card. "Funny" cards are OK to use with certain types of customers.

Have no clue.. sometimes funny works.. but with out knowing what the business is and her customer base it is hard to tell you which would work better.

Maybe you can post pics in Flicker and add a link and then ask.

It will all depend of what kind of business she is in, and how she try to position herself in that niche she is working in.

But generally I would give the advice to go for the serious one. This is because, most of the time you would like your customers to take you serious, not to forget your suppliers.

I think i would do the funny one. Unless the business is of such serious nature that there would be no room at all for joking.

This would depend upon the type of business. Investment broker, should be serious. Lawn care, could be funny.

I do not think a business card is going to make or break a business.

none
just a logo and the persons name is the most effective/professional to me
