For some reason in recent months it seems like the only search results that come up on Google are corperate sites and an insane amount of stupid Myspace pages, so when searching I end up with corperate sites at the top but they are contexually irrelevent to my search terms! Unless I am looking for corperate sites then I find them, but less popular subjects I come up empty handed. But then I find all I am looking for on just about every other major search engine. Has anyone noticed this yet? Is this because only corperate sites meet up to Google's criteria? Any thoughts are appreciated.

My search terms are exact, but if the search term has two keywords and if a Corperate site matches only one instead of both, they will be at the top, instead of sites that match my entire search phrase... Get it?

In most google searches they give preference to their Sponsors/Advertisers and so their corporate sites are listed ahead of other general sites.

"Garbage in, garbage out". If your search terms are irrelevant, the results will be too.

One or two nouns is infinitely better than a 10 word sentence.

Try it!
