I've been watching, with interest, movies such as Lake House, Deja Vu. Does anyone feel, or possibly have proof of a dimension we live in which we cannot see? Hard for me to explain, but, kind of like humans breathing water instead of air, yet fish are all around, but cannot see us, or be seen by us.

Let me try to make my question more clear: can ANYONE tell me or show proof of a coorelation between the elements of time and matter. Can time be reversed to change the form of matter? Can matter be reversed to change the form of time?

String theory holds that there are 11 dimensions.

Check out the movie Primer -- it's an excellent representation of your quandary.

How about black holes? Where matter is so incredibly dense that it affects time.

Plus, quantum physics may address your desire for factual evidence of the time/matter correlation at the particle level. Consider: Shrodinger's cat box. The cat is both dead and alive.

And think of this: in a vacuum there is no sound. Therefore, in deep space if you screamed no one would hear you.

I'm happy with three, however, some physicists now believe there are up to 11 dimensions. Research " String Theory ".

well, i've heard it on a documentary film that refered to einsten too... see, it is said that einstein had discovered the 4th dimension which is of course time! we can move through the other 3 dimensions (height, lenght, width) and time is the one left right? so, einstein found a way to travel in time, but realizing what this could do to human kind he burnt all his papers... wow! sad, but imagine what could happen if this was in the wrong hands! so, as a response to your answer, i say, there is time travelling but einstein's dead! pity...

When there is proof its called science. When it is just a theory it is called philosophy.

String theory argues 10 or 11 dimensions (I forget which).

Credible - 4, incredible - others behind 4.
But they exist, I believe that. How many exactly - dunno.
