It sits like any normal cat, except it stands on its tail with its front paws. I'm kinda confused as to why. Does anyone have an idea why she would do this?

Probably to keep his paws warm. Also, cats sometimes get irritated by their tails twitching of their own accord - check and see whether he's trying to keep the tail still.

If this doesn't help, ask the cat. They usually answer sensibly if asked politely. They have perfecr manners, but don't gladly put up with fools or with discourtesy!

When they're in the mood, cats will chase anything. That's just what they do. One of mine is 13 years old and he'll even chase his tail sometimes. Just be happy that your cat is happy, healthy and likes to have fun!

It's comfortable for it. Just like some people sit & relax w/ their legs crossed.

It could just be a quirk, a way to sit that she's comfortable with as long as she doesn't seem to hurting herself it doesn't matter..

I suppose your cat was bewildered by the other cats so it had adapted to that behavior.
