Daily abortion clinic bombings?

Wow, the news media is really keeping that secret from us.

I'm afraid your Muslim friend might be trying to defend mass murder by comparing it to abortions. These women are not terrorists they are women that don't want the babies they conceived. There is a very big difference. Yes, the terrible killings between Catholic and Protestant Irishmen was indeed terrorists actions but it has stopped.

I never heard of an Abortion Clinic in Islamic/Muslim Countries. But the extremists are killing dozens each time they set off a car bomb. Does your friend think this is OK, as long as they do not bomb babies out of a woman's belly?

Well if you add the number of people killed in the bombing of abortion clinics to the Crusades, Inquisition, the Holocaust and the random murders in the name of Jesus, Christ and the christian god then yeah there have been a lot more people killed in the name of the christian religion.
The point should be made that killing is condemned in both religions and should never be done.
Also it should be pointed out that there are no bombing of abortion clinics in muslim countries because I believe it is against the law in those countries for a woman to have an abortion so I doubt there are any abortion clinics to be bombed.

I know that there are terrorists around the world. About the news in northern Ireland, i have not been reading any news lately. That is terrible. I believe that they (nobody) has the right to badger someone about what not to do when that someone is set on doing it. Its their choice. I personally wouldnt have an abortion or kill anyone. I couldnt take someone's life.
I've also met some Christians that just would not stop & leave me be. I've seen some Christians that yell out of anger just because another person is under a different kind of religion.
I've met some Christians that are the sweetest people.
There are all kinds, everywhere.
About Muslims having abortions.... it is only for strict medical reasons only & its VERY rare. NOT because its an inconvenience. Alhamdulillah

Religions/Terrorism.......
Islam is, beyond doubt, a religion of peace. The Holy Quran is a testimony to that. Without singling out any one community, it is acknowledged with the utmost regret that there has been mindless violence in the name of Islam. In what way can individuals square it in their minds is a most personal matter for them, one only they can answer. The Holy Quran teaches us that each soul is accountable for what it earns in this world. Islam believes that God taught all major religions. Indeed, all religions preach non-violence against innocent people. However, there are followers in the world of all religions practice terrorism. I shall not go into the details of it; I do not believe I need to. However, in the present age, the media invariably highlights terrorist acts by Muslims, although a Muslim who commits heinous crime is, no exception.
The mind of all religious fanatics thinks it is doing a meritorious job!
Islam does not promote violence. Any religious teachings can be perverted in the mind of a believer. Almost always there are underlying strong motives; political, racist, or good old-fashioned revenge, based on hate. That blurs the thought process of an individual or a group and they view their heinous acts as meritorious screening their negative passion with the cloak of religion. Indeed, throughout history, many a tormenting crimes have been committed in the name of religion. It has been and still is a most unfortunate universal phenomenon.

I also would denounce the bombing of an abortion clinic, I think it would be helpful if we all became more educated on what goes on in the womb, we will still probably disagree as a society on when life begins and what it all means, but I have noticed that both sides, pro life and pro choice have a tendency to twist facts to support their view.I consider myself a Christian, but not a mainstream one. I think abortion is a terrible thing, and the Idea of destroying Innocent life for the pride or convenience of the mother disgusts me, but I also know that it can be more complicated than that, there can be medical issues that make it necessary, the mother could have been raped or have mental issues, there could be things going on in her life that make it seem like the only way.the point is, I know enough about the other side to sympathies with it to a degree even though I might disagree with it. If we all know more about it, it might mitigate the strong feelings of some and lessen these types of occurrences

And no one is supporting those acts but the point is that no christian fundamentalists attempted to blow up a car bomb in central london or drive a burning car into an airport in the last few days. The IRA have stopped their terrorist activity so we can move forward from that. But because some christians have done some terrible which no other christians agree with does not make it okay for muslim terrorists to try and kill innocent people.

Yeah, right. Ask your friend to provide sources.

>>How many people have died in the daily abortion clinic bombings by Christian fundamentalists?<<

There are not "daily abortion clinic bombings". (first link)
ONE person has died in an abortion clinic bombing. (second link)

>>they have killed more at abortion clinics<<

The abortionists may have killed more. Those who oppose abortion have killed only 7. (second link)

>>Also more people died in Northern Ireland by the IRA<<

The IRA has killed 650 civilians in a period spanning over 30 years. (third link) In ONE day (9/11/01), Muslim terrorists killed almost 3000. (fourth link)

>>and they try to spread catholicism around the world as well.<<

Nonsense. The IRA just wants Britain out of Ireland (Britain invaded Ireland).

There should be a category for confused questions in Yahoo Answers.

Do you really need a friend to tell you that there are christian terrorists as well? Never hear of the crusades? the inquisition? franco? the jesuits? colonialism?

Take a pencil and write:
"more dead in DAILY abortion clinics than in Northern Ireland by the IRA"
Step back and read it.
If you do not get it, write it 500 times.

If you still do not get it, find one of those very old style catholic teachers to pull your ear. If you are a muslim (and you have a muslim friend, that might make it easier) ask him to direct you to the nearest mullah to pull your ears.

I am very happy to hear that in muslim countries no abortion clinics have been bombed. Please send me a list of abortion clinics in muslim countries and I will check if what you say is true. I do not believe easily what people say here.

Did your muslim friend tell you about the kids who are on death row in Iran? And about that lady in Malaysia who is in a semi jail because she wants to change her religion (she is muslim and wants to be hindu)?

Should you want to ask a question in the future, this might help:

First decide, do you want to ask something or do you want to say something and you want to disguise it as a question, because after all this is Yahoo Anwers ?

If you want to really ask something: end your sentence with a question mark (?). Most people can get away with that.

Do you want to say something but you feel it should come in the shape of a question, you have to be a little bit smarter.

Eating carots and fish might help.

Your Muslim friend has been telling you a few tall tales-lots of them,in fact.

First of all,out of all the pro-life related violence in the United States, seven people had been murdered.
Seven.
Horrible,to be sure, but I'm fairly certain that seven people killed is less than the nearly three thousand killed on 9/11.

Second.More people were killed by Muslims on 9/11 than in 36 years of fighting in Northern Ireland.

And there are no daily abortion clinic bombings.
