well my girlfriend had an ear infection inside the ear and did not see to it, the infection spread to her mastoids in back of her head, and she was really sick the doctor said she waited to long to go and see the doctor and get antibiotics so be on the safe side go see your doctor ps. she is still with us ,( also check for fever that is a sign of infection)
