I'm trying to determine through my answers if most women like or don't like them. just to get a good opinion about it.

Hmm... I hated what it did to my hair more than what it looked like. It was actually very cute for a while. What I didn't like though was that it was hard to maintain and it really damaged my hair. I ended up straightening it a most of the time because it seemed faster to do that than sit there with product trying to make it look good. All in all I don't think I would ever perm it again. Then again I swore I would never go blonde again and I should be there within a couple of months. Oh Well...

I use to get curly perms. I kind of liked it then. But I was using it for volume.
Now I don't like them at all. The whole process really dries out your hair. I've discovered that my hair has a natural wave to it that when cut right looks really pretty and gives lots of volume. Who knew. Could it be partially from the curly perms I use to get when I was younger? I don't know, it's possible I suppose. But my hair was a lot longer than it is now.

Um, well, I got my first one back in the 80's and I looked like a poodle, so I hated it. Then all through the 80's into the early 90's I had to have a perm for my stick straight hair to do the "feathered" hair styles. I liked them then because it gave my hair body and didn't look poodlish once I blow dried and curled it. I did just wash it and leave it sometimes, which was nice, but I never went out in public like that. LOL
I'd like to have one again, now, if someone could promise me they could give me one that was just slighly wavy and wouldn't end up all tight ringlets. I hate that!

i hated it i def dont recomend one unless u dont mind having bad hair, or if ur hair is a little bit nat. curly it will kinda turn out good

even i, have had one that i hated, i hated the stylist too for awhile!!!! and i'm a stylist !!!
