Not if you believe in Jesus. Whether or not you think being gay is right or not, it is written that no man (woman) comes to the father, except by me. Jesus died in order for all sins to be forgiven and all to be saved, if they believe in Christ and ask for salvation.

Being gay is a far cry from stealing, adultery or murder; those among the 10 commandments. God did not say, "Thou shalt not be gay". However, the commandments occurred prior to the existence of Jesus. As being gay does not hurt your fellow man and if one treats people as you wish to be treated, is the "Golden Rule" which gay and straight people know.

While all sins are not right, Christ came to us in order that we can atone of them. Many or most gay people, like those who are not gay and are Christians; they have the same rights and passages as all good souls. We have all sinned as that was the main point of having Jesus come to us and speak in the name of the Father. He said, "He who believes in me shall have eternal life." Therefore, any gay person, thief, or even a murderer (I have a problem with that last one) who believes that Christ is the way to salvation, shall be given forgiveness and welcomed into the house of God.

It is also written that no man shall judge another, lest he be judged. It's pretty clear that God has told us how to get into Heaven. Those who judge others should beware of their own judgment if they do this.

To answer your question, no gay people will not go to hell unless they do not accept Christ as their Saviour.

This was a question I used to ask myself when I was involved in a fundamentalist Xtian church. I was terrified to think that something I was, and had been for as long as I could remember, would send me to hell. I used to pray that God would 'cure' me of being gay. When that didn't work (after years and years of fervent prayer I was still every bit as gay as I ever had been) I prayed that God would send me an understanding woman and keep me away from gay men. This did not happen either - while I had many close friends who were women it didn't make sense for me to enter into a false relationship that would hold the keys to misery for either or both of us.

I met my partner 16 years ago. He and I have an incredibly deep, loving, compassionate relationship. My love for my partner inspires more love in me for everything: my family, my friends, the world around me. Even God. I am a much fuller, happier, more grounded and peaceful person for having met my partner. The thought that my relationship might somehow be misguided or evil is simply ridiculous.

When I hear someone proclaim that gay people are sinners and going to hell all I have to do is look at the results of my own life. And I think, "You simply have no idea what you are talking about."

To answer your question, Hell would be the only place everyone would be, if it were not for being sanctified by Jesus Christ, if you choose to believe in the Bible.
Some people want to quote scripture, but they need to become better educated about what they are saying.
The exact quote comes from 1 Corinthians 6:9.

"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor SLANDERERS nor SWINDLERS will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were, but you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of God.

So, according to some people, a man could rape a little girl repeatedly and then slit he throat after he was done and then anally molest her brother and then slit his throat, go on to the mother and the father and the grandmother, etc. As long as he repents, he goes to Heaven, but no matter how much a homosexual lives a decent life, he can't go to Heaven because he's gay, and everyone knows gays cannot be decent. That is the most backwoods, nonsensical things I have ever heard of.
No one "wants" to be gay. You can't just make yourself be gay. Anyone that thinks you choose to be gay must then know what it is like to choose which sex you were born or the parents you were born to or the nationality you were born or what country you were born in. Anyone that has a preconceived notion that it is a choice is just plain uneducated.

If you are gay and tell all you are, you are announcing you are doing something that is wrong in the sight of the Lord. An abomination. To be gay and be part of that lifestyle is to live in sin. This is an indication that you have not repented and decided to follow Jesus. It shows you are putting yourself first. So you must leave the gay lifestyle and stay away from gay sex and anything that would make you lust after the same sex. God will help you get out of anything sinful lifestyle if you wish. God says that anyone practicing any abominations can not enter the kingdom of heaven. So it is likely that the gay people will not enter heaven. The Lord will judge them in the end. Help them out by lovingly telling them God doesnt like it when you follow your flesh desires over His commands and the consequences will not be good in the end. Jesus wants all to have peace and to have life to its fullest but its not in sin. (Lev 18:22, Lev 20:13, Luk 9:23, Rom 1:27, Rev 21:27)

I'm not gay either, but I ask you, do you REALLY believe there is such a place? If you are truly an honest person with a mind that can reason, you surely know better. That is used as such a childish, imbecilic threat, people who still use it should be ashamed.

no.

It is considered a sin, because it is called this in the Bible, but so is talking back to your parents. In God's eyes its all the same, there is no distinction between major sins and minor sins (for the most part.) It's like this, say you're cooking brownies for your family. As you crack the eggs for the brownies you realize the sugar u put in was actually salt. the brownies would be ruined, right? well, what if it was just that the milk was bad? the brownies would still be ruined. They are different problems, but still the brownies aren't edible. Well to God it's the same sort concept. They are different sins, but they both make us unclean in His eyes. That is why He sent Jesus. He made it so that the sins we commit don't matter, they have already been paid for, so we don't have to be punished for them, so long as we accept his offer to pay for them. If we refuse, we can try and work our way our of it, but we never will. our only hope is to accept the gift. i hope this helped. <><

The only people who are going to hell are the people who hate gay people.

Homosexuality is not a choice. People who disagree support their claims from 1950's evidence. As science and research advanced to the year 2007, There has been extraordinary amount of evidence supporting the sexual preference is determined by many psychological, physical and genetic characteristics. I also stress that it is homosexuality is not just one but a combination of them all.

So if you think god created humans why would he create homosexuals just to send them to hell.

theres lots of scriptures in the bible that forbid it. even said its detestable to God. if your living in it when you die yes youll go to hell. sometimes i wonder if these are legit questions or just questions so others that dont believe can say mean things about the truth. to set the record straight i dont hate gays! i have loved ones and close friends that are gay but if it says thats where youll go im not gonna candy coat the truth. if they truly mean something to you, you would also speak the truth and quit saying "oh thats what anti gay ppl say. i really feel like cussing alot of you but by the grace of God i have controlled my reactions out of anger. quite trying to make peace or make points and start telling the TRUTH and if you do not know the truth then skip the question!

If you are one of the vicious, anti-gay, right wing, Christian American Taliban it probably means you will be spreading this lie to defame gay people.

It's okay because as it says in the Bible,"Whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself." so these Christian fascists have ruined their chances for salvation totally.

Consenting, gay relationships in private should be of no concern to anyone.
