limewire not connecting to internet what to do?

find out if u have a firewall. sometimes the firewall will block certain programs from using the internet.

Try these steps:
1.) Restart your router, wait 10 seconds, then turn it back on
2.) Restart your computer
3.) Re-install a different version of limewire if needed

Those steps without a doubt will fix the problem somewhere, if not its your internet

If all the above suggestions dont work, try resetting your cable or dsl modem. There should be a reset button on the back of your modem that is sometimes accessible by inserting a paper clip. This helped when I couldnt connect to Xbox Live.

not connecting try --- file option then connect .

if still it does not then u might be using some software to connect to the net to browse like "24 online " or something like that connect that first

check top left of tool bar. click on file. click on connect. if thats not it, check to see if your firewall is blocking the program. thats all i got, best of luck
