Many churches today are silly and drive away any form of real Christianity. The most sensible Christians, in my opinion, would not go to a church.
Jesus did not walk around preaching at people minding their own business. He did not post billboards and silly signs by the roadways. He relied on being an example to where people would actually want to come to him and ask how to be more like him-then he would "preach" in the form of a reply. Our religions today usually teach an aggressive approach to conversions probably because nobody would actually WANT to be like the people that preach to them, so coersion is in order. "Souls" are harvested, or so the evangelists think, as if some giant 401K plan in heaven will pay them according to how many people one "saves". Many of these religions will not listen if you tell them you are already saved, they will re-save you again and again to try to keep working you for salvation credits. It's ridiculous.

I attend "New Life Apostolic" in Va, and "The Apostolic Truth" in Ok.
