My time coming, any day, dont worry about me, no
Its gonna be just like they say, them voices tell me so
Seems so long I felt this way and time sure passin slow
Still I know I lead the way, they tell me where I go.

You don't. No attempt to do so will reveal the truth about them. All it will result in is seeing your own fears and hopes reflected, until you leave seeking a more ideal prophet.
A prophet would say simply that they will not lie, and that truth is what you should seek, not a prophet to hang it on. Then, in time, if truth is more important to you than "you", you will recognize a prophet when most of "you" is gone.

Only a prophet can know a prophet. By the truth behind the words. Truth not belief. ~*~

There is no need. It's said "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear." It means that you are your own teacher; you create the teachings in your experience so that you may explore your own boundaries. What you encounter will be precisely what you need in order to move beyond.
