Social work is a profession...it is not a random event you get involved in. So only a person with a social work degree can be involved in social work. Now many people can be involved in human services, or community work. DA

I belong to a group who do community service. We are also involve with counselling drug abusers, and about four months ago we started an outreach program with the children in a depressed area here in our city.

So, yes, we're so involved with social work, and it's so fulfilling and so rewarding. You have to try it yourself.

By the way, the organization that I am involved with is called
T Brotherhood, Inc.(T stands for 'True') It's barely two years old what but we now have about 400 members all over the city.
