Frustrated, exasperated, and usually worn out. It's hard to accompany yourself with no help, but it also gives you much more flexibility in terms of venues because you have fewer people to pay.

When the arrangement is just not working, the solution is usually to simplify it. As musicians, our first impulse is always to aim for perfection and complexity. My best arrangements, though, begin simply and then build so that the only really difficult passage are at the end. There's nothing more unnerving than making an error at the beginning of a song before you've engaged the audience. A minor flaw at the end is forgiven much more often than one at the beginning.

i think everyone at least has that kind of problem once
me i can always start over
and adjust making it different from the first
or
i keep going because eventually
i will be in tune with the music
