It is very difficult to tell what age they are. Some vets can only guess at a guinea pigs age by size, weight, & looking at their teeth. From the size of your pigs, I would say they are very young & probably around 3 months.
They both appear to be American.
Be sure you aren't keeping them in the same cage or you will have babies. They must be kept separated at all times. Don't trust them together even for a minute.

Your male is definantly an american and the color is cream and white. The female is and american (potentially a cross breed or still in her baby coat.) She is also a cream and white. Their size is concerning to me if you all think they are around 3 months, because at three months a good judge of size for a healthy piggie is about 20-22 ozs. And a 6 month old should never be less than 32 ozs, ever.... This is a sign of poor care or poor health.... They look to me to be about 12 ounces or so and if this is true they are probably about 6-8 weeks old, and old enough to breed so make sure they are seperated as this could really cause problems for such a small little one. With the mortality rate so high in pregnancy for mom and babies, there is a motto you should always live by, "If you love it, don't breed it!" And if a piggie is 9 months old and has never had babies yet, it should NEVER be breed, this only increases the death rate...

Go to a vet. Guinea pig nails help us determine they're age. If you didn't know that, perhaps you weren't ready for a guinea pig? Research is the #1 rule before even BUYING a pet.
They're from a pet shop, meaning they're probably a variety of breeds. Yet again, vet. Why does it matter what breed? You obviously didn't think it matter when you got it, becuase if you want a pure-bred guinea pig, you would have gone to an animal shelter or a breeder.
There are few things I hate in this world, but inexperienced breeers are one of the few.
-.-
Good luck to the guinea pig, he'll need it.

poochine is a smooth coat about 6-9 months old approximately and so is the Female.
watch the coat on the female. It might have mite or something.. try some ivermec on the guinea to clear this up. check on the correct dosage to give them by looking up an guinea breeder. or see if they can give you any other ideas.
good luck with them

Both are rather young. I would say between three and four months of age. they could be a little older or younger. They are both American Guinea Pigs.

i don't know breeds of guinea pigs, but they look very young. i would say 2-3 months. they look happy, but remember if you keep them in the same cage they will have babies, so i would seperate them.
