I tried a couple of times, but I never actually experienced one. I got kind of close, though. Can someone who had HAD one tell me what they did to induce it?

Near Death I think would be the only way. I suppose if you trained your whole life you clould do it on command. That's about it.

I have had them actually believe it or not, and they are quite an odd experience. I believe that I can induce them, but honestly I have been to scared to do so, simply because I feel myself "floating" and unable to speak or move at all. Usually I clear my mind of all thoughts, and allow my body to become perfectly "unresponsive", meaning I just let go of all feeling and thoughts.
I try to lay flat on my back or in a very comfortable position, usually with the lights on (whether that makes a difference or not I am not sure). I hope that helps you a little. I guess what scares me the most about it is if I leave my body the inability to return to it. But if you wish this, then I wish you the best of luck. Peace.

There are a few different ways but one of the easiest is to stay up late until your really sleepy then lay down and relax But hold your hand above your face and stare at it now count from 1-500 and still staring at your hand get up out of bed and turn around there is a good chance you will find your body laying in bed. If it doesn't work the first time keep trying.
