Who says we have never read the Bible. The difference is, I read the Bible and questioned things that other people let them believe to be true thereby gaining a sense of broader thinking. I do not just accept what people try to indoctrinate into my head. I use my brain and ask the difficult questions and make up my own mind as an Adult.

Ah; I haven't, had I?
Actually, I have. I was raised a Lutheran, and in a way, I'm still being raised as one. I attended church most of my life, and intend to go in the future, simply to attain more knowledge. Throughout the majority of my life, I went to Sunday class, youth group, and the youth group activities. In addition, I was in nearly every church program put on by the youth. I've been acolyte, helped with communion, worked to organize fundraisers, and volunteered time to help with church upkeep. In addition, I attended the Confirmation courses, even after I realized I was atheist, just to become more aware of religion and its teachings. I've read my Lutheran handbook cover to cover.
Somewhere down the line, I read the Bible.

I've wondered about that myself... I tried asking a question in this section once; all I got was a bunch of crap from people who hated God and Christianity for apparently no reason ('cause a lot of them said something like "It's a bunch of fairytales. I don't have to read it."). That has to be the most annoying thing I've encountered on Y!A.

Never bother to read the Bible? Wrong.
I was raised Catholic (and you can say I still am being raised Catholic), went to a Catholic grade school, and now I go to a Catholic high school. I've read and critically examined its contents more than most Christians. I've had to go to classes like Catholic Faith, Hebrew Scriptures, Christian Testament, and Church History.

obviously if we mock christians we have read some of the bible.
obviously we have to know our fair share of the myths and legends to be able to mock the christians.
why even ask the question if you already know the answer.
it makes you look ignorant.
