My boyfriend has been feeling like crap lately..he gets really bad fevers for maybe a hour or so, then it goes away and he feels fine...he also feels tired a lot and just worn down..this sounds like mono but do u just randomly get fevers off and on with mono? it's so confusing!!

he has already gone to the doctor but the tests aren't in yet, but i have been kissing him a lot..wouldnt i have it by now?

I've never had it but I have friends who have and my wife has had it.
Don't kiss him until he's over it. It's fairly infectious. He'll probably appreciate visits and just give him sympathy, support and hot soup until he gets better.

mono can last a long time and you do have some days better then others. He should just go to the doctor and get the blood test done to see if he has it, that way if it is mono then the mystery is solved and you don't have to worry. Becuase if it is not mono then it could be something more serious developing. There is no treatment for mono, so if it is then he wont' really feel better, but at least you won't be worrying about what it is.

He needs to see a doc as something is going on. If you are with him now send him to urgent care to get checked out.
