The Bible is an inspired and holy book. When I read the psalms, my spirit grows more peaceful. Some people won't notice this subtle shift within themselves, others wont give reading this book a try.
The other thing is that the bible isn't the only reason we believe in Christ as our Savior. When people pray to him, wonderful things happen. Most people feel more positive after praying to him, lots of people feel the Holy Spirit helping them on a emotional(i.e. spiritual) level. Some people are even healed from sickness.
Yes, the human Church is prone to flaws and failures. People who don't believe in a higher awareness then their own simply haven't felt what Christians feel when they pray.
Not all Christians are good at talking about what faith is. It's a very personal and deep thing... It's about the core of your being.
Be blessed.

Jehovah God has no failures. The earth was a perfect creation.Man was a perfect creation.
It was man's rebellion that alienated him from God and hence bought about death through sin.It is man's selfishness and ignorance that has ruined the earth.
The fact that the Bible highlights failures of God's people and others as well as their successes only proves even more that it is a accurate and true account.

It is not God's failures, it is man's. You would know this if you really read and meditated on scripture. God never fails- We messed up not God- He created us for the sole purpose of having a relationship with us- we decided to sin and turn our back on this perfect God, so He, still loving us, sent His perfect Son to die in our place so that we could still have that perfect relationship with Him. What are some of those stories that see to be God's failures?

Friend: The Bible is full of stories of the failure of mankind, not God's failures. From the very beginning God gave his human creation the right to choose.
The perfection of God can be seen in the fact that he has never withdrawn our right to choose. Even when mankind has proven over and over that we are unable to make consistently right choices.

I think you should read the bible and then you'd change the question to: Is the bible with the repeated stories of MAN'S failiures, a true story of God's love and the chances He gave man though man doesn't deserve it!

God's ways are not our ways. Why do people try to make God in their own image?
