blonde or red streak?

i'm a guy and i wanna add a streak in my hair. which do you think would be a better color, blonde or red? my hair is black right now

honestly, hun thats something u gotta decide, alot of these girls have no real taste and this really cant be answer without seeing u. kinda like some people shouldnt wear mini skirts and tank tops.....not everyone looks good with highlights. then u decide what u like. i love fire engine red in my hair but the blonde may be hot on you? and for all you who answered before me, if you properly care for your red colored hair, it wont bleed like that. and you do not use a blonde haircolor to create highlights, you use HAIR BLEACH.

The names don't match up with the swatches exactly but that first red on the right column would be perfect.

They also have a "blonde" that glows in the dark.

Stark white is also good. Yeah that or the red. Or both...now that would be super hot!

Well with black hair I think you should do blonde streaks .

blonde it contrast better against black hair for a bold look,Since ur hair is already black just get a bleaching kit at ur local drugstore and line the streaks.It might take u about three x's before its like a platnum blonde(which will look best)do the bleaching process from 2-4 days the first time it'll go like a reddish brown then an orange then on the last time it'll be a platnum blonde btw like the name(after the band drop dead goregous?idk good band though)hope this helps~

Blonde - first of all - blonde shows up way better in dark hair. Second - red fades really fast and you will be disappointed.

If you have black hair, then a blond color will make red highlights.
I love black hair. Personally I wouldn't change the color.

One of my neighbors had real black hair and I didn't think it could get any blacker. She found a color that was blacker and she wore it for several years. One day she wanted her natural color back and when she let the hair coloring that she put on her hair grow out she didn't have any color, it was white. The color that she put on her hair had stripped it of it's natural color
She told me to never put any coloring on my hair. My hair is black. I am proud of the color of my hair.. My ancestors had black hair , they were Cherokee Indian & German

now, onto my answer. I put a red streak in my hair, and it faded an interesting orangish color. and a while back i did blone, and it came out orange.

but i think it looks cooler with red =)
