Easy - spending over 500 Billion$$$ for the Military a year trying to bully the world around..... and that is only the official figure not counting in all the black ops.... plus the 1.5 Trillion $$$ slush fund where no accounting is happening which goes to mysterious sources..... Then all the income from the stock market. Do you know that the US government is the biggest player there. That money does not show up in the books.
Hey - wake up! Jesus does not care about health care...... nor do those you put your trust in.
Addendum: not the I chong..... I know you are awake :) Otherwise you would have not asked that question.

Jesus is all about saving, it just happens he healed too.
We used to have church supported health care until the government got involved and took it over in the early part of the 1900's
Same with the education system. When the NEA and the Unitarians took over the schools via the government, our literacy rate plummeted and fewer people were educated than when to communities and the church's had local schools with community control and support.
If you want a program to fail, create a federal office to over see it.
And if our health care is so bad here, why are so many Canadians coming here for timely care? They have a national health care system and it doesn't work there either!

The U.S. is not a Christian country.
As many have said religion & politics should not mix but actually do here more than in self proclaimed Christian countries. It is disturbing & needs to stop.
Some of those countries have national healthcare but I am not sure that has anything at all to do with being Christian.

The U.S. is not a Christian country. National Health Care is often proposed as a Socialist/Communist method of forcing people to use government health providers against their will. The two things are not related.

We do have national health care it is called Medicare. It is poorly managed too. I for one do not want the federal government deciding my health care options. They make a mess of everything. Jesus could heal on the spot. he didn't need the roman government to help him.

There may be a religious majority in the U.S., but the U.S. is not a "Christian country." National healthcare, or the lack thereof, has to do with the wasting of tax money on ridiculous nonsense. Don't be naive. Our "leader" is Christian, and he is not a good person.

The US isn't a christian country which would explain why children get in trouble when they bring bibles to school. We don't have national health care because we don't want to wait months to go to the doctor, pay increased taxes, etc.

This is actually a Capitalist country where everything has a price tag. Even the illusion of who's country it is is up for sale. The Capitalists sold the Fundies that lie and are raking in the loot.

Well, from what I see here at YA, Christians are not the healthiest people I have met either. So I am sure that one has nothing to do with the other....or is that just the impression that the "Christians" are giving me?

Has it occurred to you that we are NOT a Christian country? Most people are Christian, but that doesn't mean that our government is Christian. Capitalism is not about love and compassion at all, no sir. And we don't all speak english either, that's another unofficial thing.
