That's why he's called a genius.
That and he actually was a genius.
PS I don't even have to look, but right now some theist is saying 'Einstein believed in god.' Which is how they automatically react without looking into the facts. Einstein used the word 'god' to describe the awesome wonder of all of existence. He didn't believe in some guy sitting on a cloud. (They'll still try to use the 'playing dice with the universe' quote though.)

Sure, y not.
Since, everyone agreed to ur question. lol
Yeah, i do agree with that, because take a look at the history. When Hitler had the authority over millions of people. People followed the higher authority, even though their conscious knew it was wrong for tutoring and killing many Innocent lives.
i'm just hoping that many others would find the strength to stand up for what is right.

I am religious, and I think that Einstein was absolutely correct. I'm pretty sure everyone will agree with this. Even if someone is following a principle blindly, they will seldom admit to doing so; that's if they notice that they are doing it in the first place, which they very seldom do.

Yes I agree. But I suspect you are confusing "blind" respect with "absolute" respect. I have absolute respect and confidence in the teaching of Christ and of His Church. But I do so with my eyes wide open, with full knowledge and understanding of the Church, its nature, its origins, it's source of authority, and its place in God's plan; and the more I know, the more respect and confidence I have. I make a point of knowing the facts, because blind assent simply doesn't sit well with me.

I do agree!
One person's belief is their own belief. Another person's belief may be different.
Regardless....Truth is both a personal belief....and an unmovable force.
Blind leading the blind....not a good idea, unless a person is so "all seeing", that they would assume that they know everything about everything.

Absolutely! Aeschylus, an ancient Greek writer once said: "In war, truth is the first casualty."

It doesn't take an Einstein to figure out those are some wise words.

Seem like a pretty straightforward statement to me. Anybody else think it BS that Cheney is pulling the 'outside the law' crap?

I think it applies in any situation. No one gets my respect without earning it. I don't respect titles or offices by proxy, either.
