I found a recipe for a a doggie cake and I need to know if its ok to use cream cheese for icing.

Sounds like a good recipe- thanks for sharing. The small amount of cream cheese this recipe calls for should be fine for your dog, unless your dog happens to have issues with dairy products. As long as you are only going to use 12oz and go according to the recipe and feeding instructions- not too much at once! You should be fine. Happy B-day and happy eats to whatever dog you have

In moderation, I sure wouldn't give them 12 oz worth. Milk products are not that great for dogs, it would probably give them diarrhea.
I think the cake would be fine without the brick and a half of cream cheese...

Yes it is fine, just make sure not to feed your dog too much of it at a time..just small pieces.

i dont know about cream cheese.
but you could use peanut butter instead. dogs LOVE peanut butter for some reason. : )

As long as you keep the serving size small. Too much might be too rich and make them sick to their stomachs.
