I think you meant to ask if Christianity is the only religion that man has distorted and managed to break into several different denominations... the answer to that would be "no".

Look at Islam... there are different factions and sects of that religion too. (The two big ones would be Sunni and Shi'ite, I believe.)

The same goes for Hindu and Judaism as well.

There are several "versions" of any major religion because man is always perverting the truth.

Can not go to church to pray??????? What?
Only on Sunday for 3 hours?????? Many churches have service every day, such as the Catholics. One church in the US has had a service going on for several years now around the clock
Denominations...... Well everything has denominations.
Bible versions.... Well you have to take into account the adaptation of language and also the discovery of older NT fragments. Try reading the KJV. A lot different. Now try reading Canterbury Tales in the Old English. Even more different.

The more you know about a religion, the more divisions you will see. For instance if you know nothing about Buddhism, you will think them as in agreement with each other. If you study it, you will see the Theravada Buddhists, Mahayana, Zen, etc. Same with Islam - the Sunni, Shia, etc.

"you know: can not go to church to pray, only on sunday for 3 hours" No, i don't know what youre talking about

Different denominations: Dude, try to study about budhism, its as messy as the christians denominations thing. My guess is that all religions have these kind of divisons and differen views.

"differant versions of the bible"- again, not sure where youre going, there are different translations, they might change some details, but people who study it deeply are aware of these details and always research with help from the original text what is all about (does create confusion some times, but again, i think its the same with all religions)

I do not see Christianity as messed up. I see people as messed up, which is why we have Christianity. Differing denominations come from arguments over what is actually Biblical truth, and unwillingness to accept it.
I do not know where you have the idea that times to pray are restricted. Christianity clearly teaches that one may pray at any time.
Most versions of the Bible lean towards easier reading or toward the traditional language meanings, but either way, the Bible is the same 66 books, all of which point to its central character, Jesus, unless you bring up the extra books of the Catholic Bible.
Christianity is unique in that it declares that all are invited to accept God's gift of salvation through His grace, not through our own doing. In other words, it is unique in being based in God's mercy and grace, freely offered to all.
It is logical, inclusive, loving, forgiving, restoring. It is 24/7, rather than being tucked into a corner of one's life.
I would not call that messed up.

Well... some of those things that you named could be considered a plus... going to church only for 3 hrs (or less) on Sunday may sound good compared to praying 5 times a day 7 days a week with extra time on Fridays... I don't know what confusion that you are talking about... Religion, like many other things, requires effort... it isn't supposed to be a free ride. So it could be that your impressions are do to lack of effort to learn anything about God, Christianity, Worship, how to live a Christian life et al. In general you get out what you put in. That goes for most anything in life.

There is a song in the musical, "Annie, Get Your Gun," entitled:
"Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better." Everything man tries to do, tends at one time or another to get messed up. Too many times, we get used to the mess and it becomes the way it is supposed to be.
The religion we call Christianity is named after Christ, but it spends most of the time on the "systems" that have been created by man to promote the interpretations of what groups of people have decided is most important to believe.
All of the translations of the Gospels are based on ancient Greek texts. They may choose to use different variants of a Greek word, but the essential meaning remains the same.
I suggest you take your personal study to only the words and actions of Jesus in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Treat the differences as "flavors of meaning" and not as "contradictions". You will be surprised how they will clean up the messes of life.

I wouldn't say that Christianity is "messed up" I mean what are we all the judge what religion is right or wrong, we all do not have enough knowledge to know what is the correct religion to use. All I see in common in religions is believing in a higher being and that's all we can do. There is a lot of confusion when it comes to what is the "right" story but all we can do is look at what we really believe and find a religion that fits what we believe.

Religion serves the needs of individuals so its only obvious that it would have several denominations. It doesn't mean that any single denomination is right or wrong as long as it brings positive change. So I'm sure that all religions are the same way.

Christianity by far has the most denominations, but if you take them all together, they're dwarfed by Catholicism. You can interpret this religious freedom of choice as a good or a bad thing. An interesting thing is that most Protestants who seemingly champion this religious freedom, are also the most stubborn fundamentalists of all Christians.

Romans 3:22-24
"22This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus."

In other words all religions have problems and all people have problems because we are all sinners. Christianity isn't the problem. The people are.
