because if god is our father, we , atheists have shown him that we are able of pursuing happiness and joy on our own, we, as good children are able of live an independent life.
If god is a father he/she will be pleased to see how their children are able to live on their own, without asking him/her favours or graces or anything else...god would think his creation was worth the effort when he saw that his/her children are able of living independently...well that is what any normal father is happy with. A normal father doesnt place his "interests" before his children.

Read my answer all the way through, and I think you'll find God will actually be really pissed at atheists. Do you even know why God created you? Do you think He needs you? He existed for eternity before you and never needed you then, so why create you now?

God doesn't want you to live independently, in fact, this is *exactly* what He doesn't want you to do. Christians define 'sin' as 'turning away from God and choosing yourself.' God's purpose for creating us was to have a "loving relationship" with us. Sounds perverted, I know, but it doesn't mean anything like that lol. How can God have a relationship with someone who lives independently, let alone, not believe in Him at all? You haven't fulfilled your purpose, therefore, if anything, you were a waste of creation. However, I trust that God will be just in His judgments, and I hope He grants you forgiveness.

btw, God is not a "normal father." That's a pretty weak statement for someone who supposedly has everlasting power. And I don't know if you realized that His interests are all that really matter and are also the only reason you exist or any normal father exists.... If God's interests don't matter, then what does?

Well, God isn't any 'ordinary' father. You need him, whether you realize it or not. You need him to breath, move, talk, etc. If God just picked up and left, we'd all die right now, and that's what atheists don't understand. God gave us free will. Just how your atheist (if you are), he doesn't want you not to believe in him, but he lets you anyway. He loves you that much that he will not force you to do anything. Just how if your human dad never let you go anywhere, do anything, etc. how much do you think he loved you? If he loved you, he'd let you have a life, right?

He will be pleased with the Atheists for the reason that this guy is talking about:

“Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear”
- Thomas Jefferson

sensible thought. Though I know some mothers have been known to place their interests above that of their child.

Also... Athiests and Christians, at least here, tend to growl, hiss, spit, curse and swear at one another and last I check parents really don't like it when their children argue.

God isn't a normal father, he knows you can't live without him even if you don't believe it

Eminenty sensible. Furthermore, god would be pleased that atheists use the brains that they were born with to question whether, given the lack of evidence, god actually exists.

You can always win an argument when God behaves in the fashion that you chose....
But in real life it doesn't work that way.

Atheists never kill in the name of God. I wish I could say that about some believers.

Hebrews 11:6

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
