my dads an alcoholic?

my dad doesnt have any problems with them or anything but he never lets me go to his house..why

i ask my mom and she lets me go.... then when he sees me leaving he asks me where im going then i tell him .....he then says he wont let me go,.... then he tells me to go inside and he hits me with a cane...

he doesnt even ask if my mom let me go

if i try to tell him my mom let me..he says that i am lieing and he wont even ask my mom if its true

why???any advice

i cant talk to him cuz he always with his freinds drinking beer and he tells me no to everything and tells me to go inside

honey, im so sorry to hear that. it must be really hard knowing this about your dad and him always putting you down like that. as hard as it may be, the best thing to do may be to try and move on from him. he obviously only makes you upset and puts you donw. i suggest talking to you mother, a grandma, other relative, or close adult friend. good luck.

Tell your mom how he treats you. If you ask her to do something and she gives her permission, demand that she go with you to tell your dad. She needs to run interference for you.
Hitting with a cane? Like leaving a welt hitting? If mom does not stop this, than call the police.
Sounds like he doesn't want to be bothered listening or asking your mom.

But there are 2 sides to every story, and I would be interested in hearing his side.........

Ok , your going through child abuse , that meens that the parents don't act good with there children or child , i the reason people drink alcohol is because they are worried about something , they are angry and there mind is busy and also it meens they have a problem , i i don't think your dad hates you but he is very worried and has a problem and he is using his anger on you , he loves you very much , i know this from my uncle , he is also an alcoholic , he is jealous of my dad because my dad is more powerful and he drinks because of this ........im 13 also ((not a joke ))
