hey one of my friend is a shy but very decent guy...he always wants a best gal for him but due to his shy nature he always failed to find one...can u tell me why galz don like him?

Shyness can be a cute thing in someone. If it really interferes with the social aspect, it can get in the way of really getting to know someone.
He should look at it like he wants to be their friend first. If he sees them only as friends and things develop further, it will be a pleasant surprise. He should always be honest and communicate.
He should always look them in the eye when he smiles. Tell him to try that first. It is a step onto becoming more open with people. Some girls like it when a man can really be a man. ie.... admitting mistakes when he makes them. Being able to communicate with words. No one really likes to be with someone who doesn't talk or doesn't show he/she has opinions of their own. Some people think that shyness is endearing. Best wishes to your friend.

I like shy guys, as long as they are not more shy than me. I am painfully shy and am more comfortable with a guy who is also more reserved. They are often more thoughtful and mature than other guys.
Being shy is more difficult for a guy cuz guys are expected to make the first moves and take the lead. This is probably the majority of your friends problem. It's easy to mistake shy for uninterested, so he may be giving off an unapproachable vibe. If he doesn't make his interest in a girl known, he's never gonna get anywhere. Girls usually don't just walk up and ask a guy out.
Shy guys are cute, but if they are so shy that they can't even have a conversation with a girl, they just aren't gonna get anywhere. Maybe he needs help with convesation skills, tell him to always act interested by asking questions and genuinely get to know the girl. Surely you have some tips for him too!

Honestly? Because it just seems like they are pussys, you know what I mean? Like they have no gutts at all, and that is not attractive.
So lets say someone breaks into the house at night, whats a guttless guy to do but hide under the covers and leave us to defend ourselves.
I think when it comes down to it, women want strong men that are protectors and providers. What kind of woman wants a guy that is weak and cant take care of his children financially or protectively?
Women just need to get to know him. My husband was quite shy, but he put the moves on me and has muscles upon muscles and is very protective. So it just depends on HOW shy someone is I guess.

Because the shy guy usually is too easy for them. They don't want a guy that's gonna fall at any half decent woman that walks by. They don't want the guy to feel like he is priveleged for having her, she wants to feel like she is just as lucky to find that guy, if not luckier. So they want the guy that is going to be an asshole, so she can feel like she got some tough guy. Which is completely bs because the shy guy usually got a lot more to show then the guy thats puts it all out and has nothing left to offer.

some girls DO like shy guys. But most girls like guys who have confidence. Shyness is the antithesis of confident. If a guy is intelligent and knows how to communicate with all kinds of people without giving off the impression that he is nervous or unsure of himself but simply exudes positive energy and carries himself in a confident manner, then he will no doubt be noticed by girls more.

Without being crude girls are looking for a man not a woman in most cases. So a pair of "balls" often helps :). Although theres nothing wrong with shy people. People brimming with confidence usually appear stronger! And women are looking for men that will take care of them. Although shy people are capable of this they're not able to advertise that. :)

Girls dont like to do the hard work. If the guy likes me id rather they showed the interest, i know girls can be annoying by doing this but its the way things are, lol. So because he'd shy he wont be going up to the girls he likes so hes missing out. Just get him to chat to girls more and hopefully he'll become more confident.

In my experience, Girls like the bad boy, dangerous guy image. But the funny thing is, is that they complain when their husbands are abusive, controlling, etc. Deep down inside it seems like they want a bad boy look but a good guy attitude. When it comes to being shy, girls like guys who are more confident, maybe that is why they like bad boys. But the real truth is, if they want a bad boy as a bf or husband then they are going to end up on COPS.

I think shy guys are cute! Way cuter than the ones that are all obnoxious and drunk. He'll find one, maybe it's not his right time yet, but there are a lot of girls who would want a guy like him!

Probably because he doesn't step up and have them notice him, due to the shyness. That's how I was.
My friends brought me out of my VERY closed shell. I met more people, made more friends. I joined a club, met a guy. We ended up going out, and he's made me even more open and outgoing.
He should join some sort of club so he can meet people and feel comfortable.
