This is the second time I've seen someone pull out their dental floss in a restaurant and proceed to use it while other patrons were eating nearby. When I politely suggested that this most recent person should perform this personal hygiene task in the restroom she looked at me and told me I was being rude and should mind my own business. What the heck!!

I know how you feel...I've been subjected to it at work in the breakroom. My response is/was "it became my business when you stuck your rude personal hygiene routine, that belongs in the bathroom, in my face". Some people just don't get it.

Gross! I hope this was a fluke, not a trend! That's disgusting!

Tina! It's not the way it looks, it's the fact that the stuff between your teeth can fly all over the place when you floss it out! How can you not see anything wrong with that?

I would say about the same time that being totally oblivious to any and everything but self came into vogue.

It's not acceptable. I won't say anything but I wouldn't date such a person.
