what makes your body ache?

my body is achy on left abdominal area.. and my neck lymph nodes are swollen.. people are telling me that its just allergies...can allergies cause this?

Allergies can cause all sorts of symptoms including swollen lymph glands but there is no way to know if allergies are the cause of your symptoms without a visit to the doctor. I have never heard of allergies making your body ache though a cold can. I suggest you see your doctor to be sure that something else isn't going on.
