find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio is the only fat burning exercise (running, jogging, cycling, elliptical, rope jumping etc) 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism) - you can use things you have around the house for that
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

enjoy life! you can do many things at home to lose weight. try lessening your junk food. im not saying to give it up entirely because trust me, you wont survive. next, you can try going up those stairs a little more often to give those legs muscles somthing to do. dont think balancing your resting period isn't important. keep everything at an average. Best of luck! Sorry I couldn't give much but I gotta go now!!!!

you need to so something that utilizes the full range of motion of the muscles. aerobics, yogo, push ups, pull-ups (or flexed arm hang), skipping and of course stretching.

regardless of the type of exercise that you participate in the diet ultimately determines the size of the body. with out high intensity exercise even with the best of diets fat loss is slow. making only subtle changes to the diet will cause only subtle changes in your body. like the saying goes, you are what you eat.
