This could be a sign of poisoning. Anything from the ingestion of chemicals to the ingestion of a wide array of plants could cause this symptom. A sudden onset of such a system is a great concern by any account. Also, check the gums, lips of your puppy--any swelling or redness in a confined area could be the result of an insect bite/sting.

with little puppies you have to be very careful because they are very naive. She might have eaten something to do this. i remember my dog ate some sour candy that was on the floor and she drooled uncontrollably. it should eventually go away but if not go to the vet
