I have several medals belonging to my husbands Grandfather, unfortunately they have no ribbons. Does anyone know where I can get them fixed up. Our kids want to wear them on Anzac Day. We are in Western Australia.
Thanks

Contact the State Branch of the RSL and they will give you a list of "Medal Restorers" and people who make copies of medals (so people can leave their own at home in a safe place while wearing the copies).
Unfortunately I am in Victoria, so I cannot give you a list you can access.

It should be very easy to obtain the ribbons you require, depending upon where you live in Australia normaly the items can be obtained via a Military Outfitter, your local Military veterans association (In GB its called the British Legion) should be able to put you in contact with a supplier, alternatively ribbons are being sold on Ebay you can also do a web search for an outfit called "elitemilitaria" based somewhere in Australia.

in case you cost the ribbon, you cost the medal. Medals are only used on costume uniforms, you place on only the ribbon on your costume uniforms. attempt an army military keep? i understand you're able to purchase any ribbon on a militia base, you're able to be eligible to purchase from an on base keep in spite of the incontrovertible fact that. Have any buddies interior the militia?
